Leah McGowan is an associate attorney with Robin, Ferguson & Kempton, LLP. She provides litigation, mediation, and negotiation services for all family law matters.
Prior to joining Robin, Ferguson & Kempton, LLP, Leah served as a law clerk to Magistrate Judge Howard R. Lloyd of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, and Magistrate Judge Debra Freeman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She was also a litigation associate at the Chicago office of Wildman, Harrold, Allen & Dixon LLP (now Lock Lord), where she represented corporations in complex commercial litigation. Leah has a full range of civil litigation experience, including negotiation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial work.
Leah graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English Literature and earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
